Baita Belvedere is located in Valle del Sestaione, the heart of Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, near the towns of Cutigliano and Abetone, 900 meters above sea level. It can be easily reached via Florence (70 km), Lucca (78 km), Pisa (101 km), Pistoia (37 km) and Prato (55 km).
From the North, take the Autostrada A1 motorway and exit at Sasso Marconi. Continue on the SS 64BIS state road and take the Sasso Marconi exit. Pass the towns of Casagrande, Ponte della Venturina and Campo Tizzoro, then proceed on the SS 12 state road following the signposts for Cutigliano. At the junction for Cutigliano, continue on SS 12 for another 500 m, then turn left towards Pian di Novello. After about 2 km, turn left again to Popiglio and continue for 1 km until Baita Belvedere.
From the South, take the Autostrada A1 motorway towards Florence, then move onto the A11 motorway and take the Pistoia exit. Continue on the Pistoia motorway and exit at Abetone/Modena. Continue on the SS 66 state road through the town of Cireglio, then proceed on the SS 12 state road following the signposts for Cutigliano. At the junction for Cutigliano, continue on SS 12 for another 500 m, then turn left towards Pian di Novello. After about 2 km, turn left again to Popiglio and continue for 1 km until Baita Belvedere.
